Temel is a naïve young man in pursuit of his pure dreams. Everyone constantly ridicules him because of his naiveté. He is in love with Zuhal, the daughter of the richest family in Trabzon. He proposes but her father refuses. Devastated he decides to commit suicide by throwing himself off the roof of the Sumela Monastery. By chance, he overhears two police officers talking about a secret treasure hidden in the Monastery. He changes his mind about committing suicide and decides to find the treasure. This way, he will both be rich and prove his love for Zuhal.
